Application - International Students

International Student Application Process 

9th Grade 

Step 1: Click here to create an account and complete the online application. A $200 application fee is required. 

Step 2: English language proficiency exam - We accept TOEFL iBT. Test results take 6-8 weeks, so please plan accordingly. 

Step 3: Supplemental materials 

  • Student Short Answers - Download form here. Responses must be handwritten and mailed to Rosary Academy.
  • Official Transcripts - Complete Official Records Request form here to submit with transcripts. We require previous three years of grades in original language and translated in English.
  • Teacher Recommendations - Current Math and English teachers must complete the Teacher Recommendation Form and submit directly to the Admissions Department.
Step 4: Interview 
 
When your application is complete, you will be contacted for a Skype interview with the Admissions Committee. 
 
Step 5: High School Placement Test
 
You are required to complete the High School Placement Test (HSPT) in-person at Rosary Academy.

Step 6: Financial Verification
 
Upon completing the interview, the applicant will be notified of their acceptance if space is available. You will receive instructions on the financial verification requirements to complete the I-20. I-20's are processed via the Diocese of Orange and may take 2-3 weeks. Please plan accordingly. 

Transfers 
Grade levels accepted: 
  •  9th grade - spring semester 
  • 10th grade - fall and spring semesters 
  • 11th grade - fall semester

  • Teacher Recommendations - Current Math and English teachers must complete the Teacher Recommendation Form and submit directly to the Admissions Department.
  • Parent form - Parents will receive an email with a form to submit to student's current school. 
 
Step 4: Interview

Important Information 
 
  • International students cannot contact the Diocese of Orange regarding I-20 requests
  • Rosary Academy must receive the deposit to process the I-20 
  • Rosary Academy does not provide a host family
  • Rosary Academy does not have boarding or housing options
  • International students must provide proof of sponsorship and proof of sufficient funds to support student 
  • Rosary Academy does not work with agencies
