Head of School Welcome

Dear Friends,

Thank you for taking the time to explore Rosary Academy.  I am eager for you to learn more about our outstanding school and our work in preparing young women for success in high school, college and beyond. At Rosary Academy, our mission is to empower the mind, body, and spirit of each young woman by providing a transformative educational experience.  In an all-girl setting, each young woman has the potential to be a change leader, an outstanding scholar, a confident athlete, and/or an aspiring artist.

I am the product of an all-girl experience that gives me the confidence and tenacity to take on whatever unique experiences I face.  As I reflect on my own educational experience and career, I realize that I would not be where I am today without the support, encouragement, and mentoring that started when I was a freshman in high school. I was blessed to have been influenced by the Sisters of St. Joseph during my own high school experience.

When the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange were asked by the Bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles to be the founding order, their vision was to establish a high school that would challenge students to develop their potential in a spirit of “excellence tempered by gentleness, peace and joy” (CSJ Constitution).  The sisters also gifted Rosary with the CSJ charism – unity and reconciliation and service to the dear neighbor. Their unique charism empowers each young woman to look at the world in light of her faith and to find creative ways to actively participate to make our world a better place.

As you click through our website, I hope you find a wide array of programs for young women.  At Rosary Academy, every Royal has the opportunity to excel.
