Summer School

Rosary Academy summer school offers remediation, advancement, and high school readiness courses in two sessions.

SESSION 1: June 12 - June 29, 2023
SESSION 2: July 10 - July 27, 2023

Rosary Academy summer school classes are open to both girls and boys.

  • Academic Remediation is required for CURRENT students who have received a failing grade in a class.
  • Advancement Opportunities are for CURRENT and INCOMING students. 
  • Freshman Prep is for INCOMING FRESHMEN who are looking to strengthen their Language Arts, Algebra, and Executive Functioning Skills prior to beginning their freshman year.
  • High School Readiness is for RISING 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students and is intended to bridge the gaps in learning and are designed to help with the transition from middle school to high school.

High School Readiness
  June 12- June 29 / 8am - 1pm / Monday through Thursday
 Open to rising 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students
3 Classes Cost $375 each class
 

These courses are intended to bridge the gaps in learning and are designed to help with the transition from middle to high school giving students a greater foundation for future courses. The teacher will assess each student and provide the necessary tools to navigate high school curriculum in the subjects of Math and English. A learning strategies component is also included to improve upon the executive functioning skills necessary for success. Grade will not appear on transcripts however a passing grade is required upon completion. Classes meet for approximately 90 minutes per day with three sections of each course offered. All course materials will be provided.  

 

Freshman Prep 
July 11-July 28 / 8am - 1pm / Monday through Thursday 
Open to incoming 9th grade students
3 Classes Cost $375 each class
 

The class will preview actual 9th-grade curriculum taken at Rosary Academy. The Math class covers the first chapter of the book. The English class will cover the summer reading and techniques required to be an effective writer. A learning strategies component is also included to improve upon the executive functioning skills necessary for success and how to manage the schedule of a busy high school student. Grade will not appear on transcripts however a passing grade is required upon completion. Classes meet for approximately 90 minutes per day with three sections of each course offered. All course materials will be provided.
