Bryn Boznanski will play softball for Notre Dame

Bryn Boznanski is part of a sports-loving family.  Both of her parents were college athletes and have chosen careers that revolve around sports. Her twin brother, Brady, is a Servite Friar.  Last season she was named All-County, All CIF, and All-Trinity League in softball and has been a scholar athlete for each year she has been a Royal.  She was given the Royal Award in volleyball for the 2018 season, and the Coach's Award for basketball, where she earned her second state championship.  She was the Junior class Multi-Sport Athlete of the year for 2018-19.  Bryn was a Red & Gold overall captain and was elected ASB president for the upcoming school year.
Attending Notre Dame has always been one of Bryn's goals.  Stepping onto Melissa Cook Field will be not only the fulfillment of a dream but also the beginning of her commitment to a new community for four years.  She truly was meant to be one of the Fighting Irish.
Head Softball Coach and Athletic Director Tom Tice said,  "It is a joy to see someone pour so much of herself into the classes she takes, the sports she plays, and the leadership opportunities she takes. She is a beloved teammate and she is everyone’s favorite player to coach because she strives every day to get better. Bryn will be a blessing to the Notre Dame community."
Notre Dame is a place born of vision and defined by its Catholic character.
It is animated by a faith that inspires us to seek knowledge because of the powerful tool it can be to improve humankind.
