Rosary Goes Pink to Fight Cancer

"Rosary Cares" began over 10 years ago to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Today, we continue to raise awareness and funds to fight all cancers. As an all-girls school, breast and ovarian cancer will affect every girl on this campus at some time in their lives (either them personally or someone they know). Beyond breast and ovarian cancer, there are many other cancers that will unfortunately be woven into the fabric of their lives. This is our opportunity to promote awareness and offer support.
During October, Rosary will "go pink" in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our Rosary Retail Store is stocked with Rosary spirit wear and accessories in pink, including a limited edition pink T-shirt. A portion of sales of all pink items and gate fees from volleyball and basketball home games will be donated to the Crosson Cancer Center at St. Jude Medical Center. Funds will be presented to the Crosson Cancer Center during a special presentation at a February basketball game.
Students may wear Rosary's pink polo any day of the week in October or on Friday during the school year. Pink spirit t-shirts may be worn on spirit days and other scheduled days.
You can be a part of "Rosary Cares" by:
  • Attending home games
  • Purchasing a pink polo or other pink gear from the Royal Retail Store.
