Tri-School Theatre earns accolades at CETA festival

Tri-School Theatre recently attended the California Educational Theatre Association (CETA) annual festival. High school theatre programs throughout the state attend workshops and see other schools' performances. The weekend concludes with an awards ceremony.
 

Executive Artistic Director Frankie Marrone (Servite '03) reported "Having Placed 3rd in our area for our production of The Matchmaker last fall, we were selected to perform a ten minute cutting in the festival of scenes. Our students did a terrific job and held their own onstage with truly the best of the best. Our show along with over 50 schools was judged by three adjudicators who see on an average of 5 - 8 production in the fall. They get to choose ONE actor or technician (over 100 students) to award The Adjudicators Choice. Claire Early '21 (Dolly Levi), and our Costume Crew received these choice awards."

Additionally we received these Certificates of Merit (also chosen by the adjudicators) for Acting:

Certificates of Merit for Tech/Production were given to:

 

Direction, Technical Direction, Set Design, Costumes, Lighting, Audio, Make-Up, Stage Management, Assistant Direction, and Props.
