Kate Goggins has committed to Boston College

Senior Kate Goggins has committed to Boston College to play soccer after her graduation from Rosary. Kate is a multiple All-Trinity League selection and a multi-year team captain for the Rosary squad. She received several scholarship offers, but chose the Eagles, where she will be reunited on the field with her older sister Emma ‘20.
Head coach Sean Melendez said of Kate, "Kate has always seemed destined for D1 soccer. She is a very motivated player that has always dreamed big. Her talent and hard work has paid off. I see Kate making an immediate impact at BC. Kate is going to thrive in a very competitive ACC. Also, I'm so glad to see that she will be playing soccer again with her older sister."
Boston College is a private, Jesuit research university that was founded in 1863 in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. It emphasizes a broad-based, rounded liberal arts education.
