National Merit Scholarship honors for Rosary students

In October 2012, over 1.5 million students took the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. In addition to Lauren Grobaty '14 being named a National Merit Semifinalist, several other Rosary students recently received recognition.

About 34,000 students throughout the nation have been named Commended Students and are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. These students placed in the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered this competition.

Congratulations to Rosary seniors who have been named Commended Students in the National Merit Scholarship Program. They are:

Meghan Hodges
Jessica Linton
Angelina Lo
Rachel Reyes

Based on their grade point average and their scores on the 2012 PSAT/NMSQT, the highest scoring test takers who designated themselves as at least one-quarter Hispanic/Latino are honored by being named to the National Hispanic Recognition Program. Rosary seniors who have achieved Scholar status (based on their Rosary GPA as well as their test scores) are:

Cynthia Martinez
Monica Morales
Morgan Pellkofer
Natalie Pita
Halina Szymanski

Rosary is so proud of our accomplished scholars!
