Thanksgiving greetings from the President

Dear Members of the Rosary High School Community,

Thanksgiving is the time for thinking about the many blessings given to us by God and, in turn,  the time for giving thanks.  I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank each and every member of this community for the gifts you give so freely that make Rosary High School one of the top-rated schools in southern California.  The support we provide as a community sets us apart.

In the spirit of loving others, our students have embraced several opportunities to reach out to the greater community including the Breast Cancer Awareness Month donations to the St. Jude Medical Center’s Crosson Comprehensive Cancer Center, the annual Thanksgiving canned food drive assisting St. Vincent de Paul Society, and two American Red Cross blood drives.

In the spirit of caring for others, our faculty, staff, and coaches are second to none in their dedication and commitment to our students.  This group of professionals cares about our students and routinely go the extra mile to provide a thriving environment.

In the spirit of giving to others, our parents and families have provided time, talent, and treasure in every aspect of school life- from volunteering with retreats, school events, athletics, merchandise sales, Cracked Crab, and more. Rosary families are supportive and generous. Their energy sustains us as we continue the important work of educating today’s young women.

On behalf of the administration, I want to wish all of you, your families, and your loved ones a very happy Thanksgiving, rich in God’s blessings.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all I the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.   ~Colossians 3:17
