Cheer and dance teams claim second ESPY Award

For the second year, Rosary High School varsity cheer and dance teams brought home an ESPY Award for their performance at second annual ESPYS Experience.

Decided upon by team performances and crowd participation, this prestigious award is the culmination of the interactive fan-fest at L.A. Live that kicks off the ESPY Awards red carpet arrivals.

ESPYs, standing for Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly, recognize individual and team athletic achievement. The ESPYS Experience brings together fans, athletes, and performers before the annual ESPN awards show.

"We're so excited to show our fans, our families, and the ESPN community how hard we've worked," Claudia Heidelman '15, varsity cheer co-captain. Sports enthusiasts gathered at LA Live to see the spirit teams, mascots from local professional teams, and all-star dunk contest winners.  Congratulations, ladies!
