Royal Cross Country Advances to the CIF Finals

On Saturday, November 15, 2014, the Royal cross country team competed in the CIF Prelims at Mt. SAC.  The team fought hard and got the job done to qualify for CIF Finals.  This is the first Rosary cross country team to qualify for CIF Finals in over ten years.  They are truly accomplishing great things together!

Head Coach Jen Murphy gave special recognition to Julia Mastrobuono, who PR'd on this course by 38 seconds.  Also having a terrific race was Chloe Ruffier, who PR'd on this course by 55 seconds. That is an improvement of almost one whole minute in three weeks.  Chloe passed several runners in the last 400 meters of this race, helping the team to secure their spot in the CIF Finals.

The Rosary Cross Country team will be competing again on Saturday, November 22, at 10:05 a.m. at Mt. SAC.
