Rosary celebrates National Catholic Schools Week

National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. Through events this week, Rosary High School focuses on the value that Catholic education provides to young women and their contributions to our Church, our communities, and our nation.

Catholic Schools Week 2015

Sunday, January 25- In our parish

  • Beginning our celebrations is the Kingdom Fair, a presentation of the local agencies and organizations our seniors volunteered with during the past semester. Kingdom Fair will be held in the Assembly Hall at lunch.
  • Students from Campus Ministry and ASB will deliver letters to their local parishes thanking them for the spiritual guidance and formation they offer.
Monday, January 26- In our community
  • Rosary High School is supported by many schools, churches, and community organizations. We will honor and recognize these people who help us fulfill our mission of educating and empowering young women to become integrated, holistic individuals.
  • Kingdom Fair to be held in the Assembly Hall at lunch


Tuesday, January 27- In our students
  • Our students will promote kindness between one another


Wednesday, January 28- In our nation
  • Join us for a flag raising and prayer service at 7:55 a.m., in the Rose Garden, honoring those who keep our nation safe.
  • Sophomore retreat at the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange Motherhouse


Thursday, January 29- In our vocations
  • In 1965, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange founded Rosary High School. On this day, we celebrate the legacy the sisters began at Rosary.
  • Rosary Praying Parents will pray the Rosary in the Chapel at 8:00 a.m.


Friday, January 30- In our faculty, staff, and volunteers
  • Rosary's talented faculty and staff members are dedicated to providing a quality education to our students. To end Catholic Schools Week, our students will give special recognition to their favorite faculty or staff member
  • Red & Gold Kick-off
  • Parents will pray the Rosary for the Red & Gold participants in the Chapel at 8:00 a.m.
