Lacrosse takes first in the Rose Bowl Jamboree

Rosary's lacrosse team played in the Rose Bowl Jamboree on March 7, and won their division in the championship game against San Marcos, 9-1, after defeating Royal and Hamilton high schools.
Vanessa Lares had 16 goalie saves, allowing only six goals in the tournament. Erin McGlynn scored 6 goals, Angie Larres 5, Ceci Chaparro 4, Bernie Montano 3, and Megan Irving and Lauren Gloady each scored twice!

This was a big win for the Royals, and they followed it up with a 14-0 win over Murrietta Valley on Monday, March 9. This was their first shutout in the history of the program!

The season is off to a great start!
