Congressional Art Contest award given to Royal artist!

For the second year in a row a Rosary Academy student has received an Honorable Mention at the Annual Congressional Art Contest sponsored by the U.S. Congress. Alison Viggiano '10 received this prestigious award for her photograph of a butterfly in motion titled "A Butterfly's Day Off."

Congressman Ed Royce was on hand at the Fullerton Museum to officially award Alison with her certificate at an awards ceremony on April 23. There were approximately 150 entries from high schools all over the 39th Congressional District, which includes Fullerton. Alison's entry was one of several art pieces submitted to the contest by Rosary student artists. "Couldn't be prouder!" said her photography instructor Mr. Reinbold. "It's a gorgeous image....wish I'd taken it!"
