This Rosary student is making a difference!

Recently, Yorba Linda City Councilwoman Tara Campbell '11 posted this accolade of Isabella Tejeda '20:
"I met with Yorba Linda Girl Scout Isabella Tejeda, a Rosary Academy sophomore, on her Gold Award project and just wanted to share it with you all! Isabella is passionate about fostering a love of reading and enhancing literacy in a community where literacy rates are low. This summer, Isabella partnered with Higher Ground Youth & Family Services in Anaheim and created “Read a Story, Change a Life,” a storytime rotation for their existing intervention program for at-risk youth. She created scripts, props, puppets, a portable theater, and a training manual to be used by the staff of Higher Ground to help ignite the imagination of young emerging readers for years to come."
We are so proud of our inspiring Rosary women!
