Robotics team headed to World Championships!

The Friarbots Robotics team, which includes students from Rosary and Servite, came home from the FIRST Robotics OC Regional with several impressive wins! 

The Chairman’s award – the highest ranking award, which qualified the team to compete in the World Championships. 

The Finalists award – for maintaining first place during the entire competition until the final round. 

The #1 Pit Safety award – earned for having the safest pit throughout the competition. 

The Hard Hat Pit Safety award – as 1st runner-up for the safety award, presented by UL. 

Representing Rosary on the Friarbots team are Krista Faber, Kristen Biederstadt, and Jasmine Vodhanel. 

During spring break, the team entered the Aerospace Valley Regional in Lancaser, CA, where they won the quality award, safety award, and won the regional

Next up for the Friarbots is the World Championships in Houston in April.
