"Royal for a Day" is Rosary Academy's shadow program. This day provides prospective students with insight on the life of a Royal. Each prospective student is accompanied by a Royal Ambassador and will participate in a morning ice breaker, attend two classes, experience lunchtime, any on-campus activities, and our Girls Lead leadership workshop.
When you schedule your daughter for a shadow day, please select her academic and athletic interests. She will be paired with an ambassador who shares her similar interests.
Students must check in at 9:00 a.m. and the day ends at 2:05 p.m. (Tuesday & Friday) or 3:00 p.m. (Monday & Wednesday).
*Parents may stay for a campus tour and admissions presentation in the morning.

- May I request any Rosary student to shadow?
Royal Ambassadors host all our shadows. We have 60 students from grades 10-12 who are selected through an interview process, and shadows are paired with a Royal Ambassador based on academic and athletic interests.
- Is there a dress code for shadows?
Shadows have the option to wear their current school's uniform, professional attire or relaxed dress. Professional attire includes dresses or skirts appropriate for day and school wear no shorter than three inches above the knee, sweater or blouse, and tank-tops with straps at least two inches wide. Relaxed attire includes jeans or Bermuda shorts that are appropriate in length, shirts or sweatshirts with any design or text that is appropriate, tennis shoes or casual shoes with a back strap. Overall, the dress code is modest attire.
- Is lunch included?
Yes, we provide lunch for all shadows. Please notify the Admissions Department (email@example.com) if you daughter has any food allergies.
- What should a shadow bring?
Shadows are not required to bring anything, and they will receive a bag to hold all their personal items.
- Where do parents drop off and pick-up?
You may park in the guest lot or street off of North Acacia Ave. Check-in and pick-up is in the Rose Garden. If you are picking-up after 3:00 p.m. please notify the Admissions Department.
- Are parent tours available?
Yes, parent tours begin shortly after check-in.
- Do I need a permission slip?
Yes, please print and complete the permission slip and media release available here. You may bring the form on shadow day.
