The History of Red Wine & Gold

Rosary alumna Marquita Gyben '75 and her husband Jack have two Rosary alumna daughters. In 2003 they had a vision to create a wine event at Rosary Academy as a fun way to bring the parent community together. This event would serve as a kick-off to the highlight of the year for our students, Red & Gold, which is a unique tradition at Rosary. They hoped to allow the parents to participate in the energy and excitement of Red & Gold, and to raise money for tuition assistance for students. From that seed, Rosary's Red Wine & Gold was harvested!

Red Wine & Gold has raised more than $1,000,000 since its inception. Hundreds of Royals who have walked the halls of Rosary have done so because of funds raised for the Trudy Mazzarella Fund and through Red Wine & Gold.

Auction Items

One of the most successful parts of this fundraising effort is our live and silent auction. If you would like to donate, please download the form below. We are looking for anything from restaurant gift cards to vacation homes; sporting tickets to memorabilia; wine to experiences. Thank you for your support!
