Service Outreach
The philosophy of service outreach at Rosary Academy flows from the desire for every student to live out our school’s charism of “service to the dear neighbor without distinction” by participating in direct service outreach. As part of Rosary Academy’s mission, philosophy, and criteria for graduation, students are required to participate in service outreach all 4 years. In the freshman and sophomore years, students participate in class-level service projects. In their junior and senior years, students serve a minimum of 10 hours each semester. Agencies must be chosen from Rosary Academy’s approved list.
Service outreach is at the core of our Gospel values: to be the hands and feet of Christ, and all Royals are called to live out our charism, “to serve the dear neighbor without distinction.” In the tradition of our founding religious order, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, our students are formed as servant leaders to make a positive impact on our wider community.
