Ways to Give

We invite and encourage donors to consider making a multi-year pledge to the Rosary Fund to meet your philanthropic goals and help us continue our commitment to Catholic all-girls education at Rosary Academy. Your pledge may be spread over 2-5 years with a payment schedule that best suits your financial and tax planning.

Rosary Academy accepts gifts of publicly traded stock. Stock gifts often provide significant tax benefits to the donor. Consult with your tax professional for advice about your circumstances. Did you know that many employers offer a matching gift program to leverage a donor's contribution to Rosary Academy? To find out if your company offers a matching gift program, please contact Nikki (Wilson) Pontius '03, alumnae and annual fund manager, at npontius@rosaryacademy.org.

Rosary Academy appreciates gifts-in-kind that are useful to the school. Gifts-in-kind must be evaluated according to the Gift Acceptance Policy. If accepted by the school, the donor determines the gift's fair market value through appraisal or market comparisons. By funding a DAF, donors can take advantage of income tax deductions now, while having the flexibility to decide later when, how and who to support. Plus, the money in a DAF is invested, so it has the potential to grow over time.

If donors are 70 ½ or older, they can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from their IRA directly to a charity, avoiding taxes. At age 73, they can fulfill all or part of their Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)without paying income taxes.
